I purchased this device when my HTPC was not available to hook up to my Plasma TV. The HDMI connection was what I was looking for since my laphttp://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=4003398141522656276top did not have one. The picture quality was excellent and I had no problems connecting to the TV, other than learning how to use the software to clone the video viewing portion to the second monitor (HDTV). One I figured that out, everything works as advertised. Although priced high, being able to view HD 720p video on an HDTV was worth the investment. Until I replace the laptop with one with HDMI output, this is the only choice I have.
